Introducing The Nook

New for summer 2025, The Nook is our bright and airy on-site tapas and lounge bar — with handpicked wines ranging from Riesling to Rioja and a tapas menu that’s a true fusion of Cymru and the Mediterranean. 

With locally-sourced produce at its heart, dishes on the tapas menu include our famous potato rosti bites with roast garlic aioli; local Cosyn Cymru cheese with Felin honey; garlic king prawns and Neil’s famous nuts. 

Our well-loved breakfast menu will also be served in The Nook during the day — allowing you to make the very most of the Catch 22 experience. What’s more, you can also enjoy a ‘wine flight’ — consisting of three different 50ml red or white wine tasters for just £10 alongside your tapas! 

Our regulars will know that The Nook has been in the works for a long time, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of local businesses and tradespeople who have brought the venue to life — we really can’t thank them enough.

The Nook is open all year round. Walk-ins are accepted subject to availability, however booking is highly recommended — particularly during the summer months. Reservations for The Nook can be made by calling 01407 238 220. The venue will also be available for private hire from September 2025. Watch this space!

Opening hours: 10:30 - 15:00 & 17:00 - 22:30 (last entry 21:00) 

Breakfast served: 10:30 - 14:00 

Tapas menu served: 12:00 - 14:00 & 17:00 - 20:00 

Sundays  

Opening hours: 10:30 - 21:00 (last entry 19:30)
